Abstract:
Very few cases have been described of pharyngeal symptoms resulting from upper cervical osteophytes. All other conditions causing dysphagia should be excluded before operating on these spurs. Surgery is also indicated in patients who do not respond to conservative treatment. In our patient, removal of the osteophytes was simple and effective.
