Background:

Growing demand for adult orthodontic treatment focused on smile esthetics.
Importance of identifying dental and facial defects for esthetic success.
Application of Golden Proportion principles for harmonious smiles.

Observation:

A 22-year-old female patient presented with dental crowding, abnormal overjet/overbite, and an unesthetic peg-shaped lateral incisor.
Patient sought treatment primarily for improved smile appearance.

Findings:

Non-extraction orthodontic therapy was employed, utilizing arch expansion and ideal axial tooth inclination.
Composite buildup of the peg lateral incisor and periodontal grafting on a central incisor enhanced smile esthetics.
Successful alignment and correction of malocclusion were achieved.

Implications:

Demonstrates the successful integration of orthodontics with restorative and periodontal treatments.
Highlights the significance of a multidisciplinary approach in achieving optimal dental esthetics.
Provides a case study for managing complex esthetic dental concerns in young adults.
