[Horizontal root fractures in permanent teeth: report of a case]

• Displacement of the lateral incisor segment out of the alveolar bone was noted.

Findings:

• Fragment alignment and stabilization with a wire-resin splint for 21 days were performed.
• No endodontic therapy was needed, and the patient showed successful fragment union without pulpal pathology or resorption after one year.

Implications:

• Conservative management of horizontally fractured incisors with displacement can achieve favorable outcomes.
• Early intervention and stabilization are crucial for preserving tooth vitality and function after dental trauma.
