    Background:

    • Carbon bisulphide (CS2) is a chemical solvent with known toxic effects.
    • Understanding CS2's impact on cardiovascular health is crucial for occupational safety and public health.
    • Previous studies have indicated potential atherogenic properties of CS2.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate the effects of varying doses of carbon bisulphide on serum lipid profiles.
    • To histopathologically examine the aorta and blood vessels in coronary, cerebral, and renal territories after CS2 exposure.
    • To determine the potential of carbon bisulphide to induce hyperlipidemia and atherosclerosis.

    • White rats were administered intraperitoneal injections of carbon bisulphide at doses of 5, 10, 15, 25, and 75 mg/kg body weight.
