Glucose-galactose malabsorption--a report in a Chinese family

Glucose-galactose intolerance is a rare form of monosaccharide malabsorption. We report a Chinese family with 2 affected male children. They presented with watery diarrhoea since birth and the diarrhoea improved only after the offending carbohydrates were withdrawn from the diet.
