Early and Degressive Putamen Atrophy in Multiple Sclerosis

Multiple sclerosis (MS) patients show early putamen atrophy, detectable shortly after symptom onset. This atrophy progresses rapidly in early disease years, highlighting the need for early detection using MRI.
