Mesenteric panniculitis, an inflammatory condition, can be challenging to diagnose due to non-specific symptoms. Fluorine-18-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography (F-FDG PET/CT) aids in diagnosing this condition by showing characteristic metabolic activity.
