Abstract:
Seven different types of venous catheters were visualised under standardised conditions with a 5 mHz linear scanner for comparison of their respective imaging qualities. Under these conditions, all catheters were readily identifiable regardless of fabric and width. Any formation of loops or knots could also be visualised.
