Some Pharmacodynamic Aspects of Cefepime

Cefepime, a new cephalosporin antibiotic, demonstrated varied pharmacodynamic effects in animal models, including muscle stimulation and blockade of neuromuscular transmission. Overall, cefepime shows a low potential for adverse reactions at therapeutic doses.
