Genetic Alterations in Differentiated Thyroid Cancer Patients with Acromegaly

Acromegaly patients with differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC) show NRAS codon 61 as the most common genetic alteration. BRAF V600E mutations are less frequent in acromegalic DTC, suggesting it may not drive cancer development in this condition.
