Fructose Coingestion Does Not Accelerate Postexercise Muscle Glycogen Repletion

Combining glucose and fructose does not speed up muscle glycogen replenishment in cyclists when sufficient carbohydrates are consumed. However, this combination may reduce gastrointestinal issues during high carbohydrate intake.
