Autologous blood clot embolisation in posttraumatic high-flow priapism

This study shows autologous blood clot embolisation is a safe and effective treatment for non-ischemic, high-flow priapism caused by trauma. Follow-up confirmed full recovery and normal erectile function.

- Post-embolisation imaging demonstrated pseudoaneurysm shrinkage and eventual complete thrombus formation.
- The patient experienced full recovery from priapism with normal erectile function at six months and one year follow-up.
