Progressive-Addition Lenses for Accommodative Esotropia with a High Accomodative Element

Progressive-addition lenses (PAL) effectively treat accommodative esotropia with high accommodative elements, improving both motor and sensory functions. Both PAL and bifocal lenses show similar benefits for young children with convergence excess esotropia.

- Both PAL and bifocal lenses were found to be equally beneficial as initial treatments for young children diagnosed with convergence excess esotropia.
