Expression of CD105 on expanded mesenchymal stem cells does not predict their chondrogenic potential

CD105 expression does not identify chondrogenic bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs). This study found no correlation between CD105 levels and chondrogenic potential in BMSCs, suggesting it is not a reliable marker for isolating these cells.
