Abstract:
Cs0.3WO3 nanoparticles with broad near infrared (NIR) absorptive ability were fabricated by a high-temperature solvothermal process. It has been found that there was a strong size-dependent effect for the NIR absorption, that was, the smaller size led to stronger optical absorption. The thin film containing the Cs(x)WO3 nanoparticles can effectively shield out the most part of NIR light without the loss of brightness from the visible lights.
