Abstract:
The domiciliary nurse is a fundamental member of the health care team. The Royal District Nursing Service (RDNS), Melbourne, employs 700 nurses and visits about 33,000 people per year. Many similarities exist between domiciliary care and general practice. This paper focuses on a low technological approach to continence, and it features one specific method of treatment: bladder training.
