Abstract:
Familiarity with the foregoing recent important studies and reports is fundamental to the planning and delivery of effective and sound health promotion and risk-reduction programs. Of particular concern to community health nurses is that most people are unaware of their cholesterol level. High blood cholesterol can effectively be lowered in most instances when individuals are educated about proper dietary and/or drug interventions.
