Age and traumatic chest injury: a 3-year observational study

Traumatic chest injuries (TCI) are a significant cause of death, particularly affecting children and the elderly in Qatar. Strict traffic law enforcement is crucial to reduce TCI-related mortality.

- Children and the elderly are most vulnerable, while young males face the highest exposure.
- Implementing and enforcing traffic regulations can mitigate TCI morbidity and mortality.
