    Purpose of the Study:

    • To assess the faculty development needs of allied dental faculty in Florida.
    • To examine the relationship between faculty knowledge and training priorities.
    • To evaluate satisfaction with current faculty development and mentoring opportunities.

    Main Methods:

    • Survey research conducted with 204 full-time and part-time allied dental faculty.
    • McNemar's test used to analyze agreement between knowledge and training priorities.
    • Thematic analysis of open-ended responses to identify unmet needs.

    • 115 faculty members responded (74% response rate).
