Cataract vision impairment in older adults did not significantly increase fall risk or affect postural control in this study. Further research is needed to identify fall predictors in this population.

- Vision impairment from cataracts in older adults is not associated with increased falls or balance disorders.
- Further studies with advanced postural control assessment and consideration of other risk factors are recommended.
