Summary

Plasma butyrylcholinesterase (BChE) levels and succinylcholine effects were similar in preeclamptic, gestational diabetic, and healthy pregnant women. This suggests succinylcholine remains a suitable neuromuscular agent for cesarean sections in these groups.
