Progranulin Mutations Affects Brain Oscillatory Activity in Fronto-Temporal Dementia

Electroencephalography (EEG) detected distinct brainwave patterns in different stages of frontotemporal dementia (FTD). EEG can differentiate between mild cognitive impairment-FTD and overt FTD, and identify changes related to progranulin (PGRN) gene mutations.
