[Energy of the transmembrane DNA transfer in bacteria]

The natural transmembrane DNA transfer in the course of the genetic transformation, transfection and conjugation is analyzed as well as the inducible transmembrane transfer affected by the different physicochemical factors. Different models for the transfer are discussed. Special attention is paid to the energetic aspects of the transfer.
