Microbiological characterization of stable resuspended dust

Summary

Stable dust contains common microbes, not significant levels of hazardous bacteria. This study analyzed respirable dust in a Hungarian stable, finding mostly soil-dwelling organisms, with few pathogens like Staphylococcus, posing minimal risk to horses and staff.
