GESTATIONAL DIABETES MELLITUS SEEMS TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH INFLAMMATION.
Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) is linked to inflammation. Pregnant women with GDM showed higher levels of human chitinase-3-like protein 1 (YKL-40), neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio (NLR), and platelet/lymphocyte ratio (PLR) compared to healthy controls.
