Summary

Noninvasive radiofrequency (RF) treatments effectively reduce thigh circumference. This study shows a novel contactless RF applicator significantly decreased thigh size with no reported pain or adverse events, offering a safe body contouring option.

  • Assess the safety and efficacy of a novel selective radiofrequency (RF) applicator.
  • Evaluate its potential for noninvasive thigh circumference reduction.

  • 42 female subjects received weekly contactless RF treatments for 4 weeks.
  • Thigh circumference measured at baseline and 2 weeks post-treatment.
  • Safety assessed via adverse event reports.

Main Results:

  • Statistically significant thigh circumference reduction (2.43 cm) in the treatment group (p < 0.001).
  • No significant change in the untreated control group (p = 0.297).
  • No reported pain, discomfort, or adverse events.
