[Methods of rapid anterior vertebral canal dissection using a Gigli wire saw]

The author has developed two procedures for immediate sparing dissection of the vertebral canal in 50 cadavers by employing wire saws introduced into the canal followed by its cutting inside. They make it possible to dissect, by spending minimal time and making less efforts, the vertebral canal both within several vertebrae and its nearly full length, providing a wide view of the spinal cord, rootlets, and intervertebral ganglia.
