Preventive Effect of Green Tea Polyphenols against Dental Caries in Conventional Rats

Green tea polyphenols significantly reduced tooth decay in rats by inhibiting cariogenic bacteria. Even a 0.1% concentration in diet or water offered substantial protection without observed toxicity.
