Summary

Fetal sepsis can cause abnormal heart rate patterns, often including persistent tachycardia and periodic decelerations. However, no single fetal heart rate pattern definitively indicates infection in utero.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To analyze fetal heart rate (FHR) patterns in cases of in utero bacterial sepsis.
