Positron Emission Tomography/Magnetic Resonance Imaging (PET/MRI) offers a promising future in diagnostic imaging, particularly for reducing radiation exposure in pediatric patients. While PET/MRI shows good correlation and potential for advanced corrections, PET/CT currently excels in speed, cost, and patient comfort.
