Mandibular movement during sleep bruxism associated with current tooth attrition

- Specific phases of CO-cycles with ELM showed significantly higher masseter muscle activity compared to voluntary grinding.
Implications:
- The study suggests that excessive, forceful grinding during sleep bruxism events can lead to canine tooth attrition.
- Understanding these biomechanical patterns is crucial for diagnosing and managing sleep bruxism-related dental damage.
