Analysis of extrapulmonary tuberculosis in Spain: 2007-2012 National Study

Extrapulmonary tuberculosis (EPTB) rates declined across all age groups in Spain between 2007-2012, though incidence remained highest in older adults. HIV infection was a key risk factor for EPTB.
