New co-polymers significantly boost hydrogen production using visible light photocatalysis. Dibenzo[b,d]thiophene sulfone co-polymers show enhanced activity, rivaling titanium dioxide (TiO2) and outperforming carbon nitride for efficient hydrogen evolution.
