Dose dependent sun protective effect of topical melatonin: A randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind study

Topical melatonin cream at a 12.5% concentration effectively protects skin from erythema caused by natural sunlight. Lower doses of melatonin did not show a significant sun protective effect compared to placebo.
