Internal Astigmatism in Myopes and Non-myopes: Compensation or Constant?

Internal astigmatism (IA) may partially compensate for corneal astigmatism (CA) in low astigmatism eyes. However, IA does not actively reduce CA in myopes, despite variations by ethnicity.
