Characterization of Prostate Cancer in a Functional Eunuch

Prostate cancer (CaP) is rare in eunuchs. This study details a eunuch who developed CaP, finding that intracrine dihydrotestosterone (DHT) synthesis occurred via the backdoor pathway despite low serum testosterone.
