Esthesioneuroblastomas (ENB) can present atypically, mimicking other conditions. Recognizing these varied clinical presentations is crucial for timely diagnosis and management of this rare neuroectodermal tumor.

  • Esthesioneuroblastomas (ENB), a rare neuroectodermal tumor, exhibit variable biological behavior.
  • Diagnosis can be challenging due to diverse clinical presentations.

Observation:

  • Two cases of ENB with atypical presentations are detailed.
  • Case 1: Intracranial pressure (ICP) headache and visual decline with an extra-axial lesion extending into the nasal cavity.
  • Case 2: Chronic nasal congestion and progressive headache.

Findings:

  • ENBs can manifest with unusual symptoms beyond typical sinonasal complaints.
  • Radiological findings may suggest intracranial extension or mimic other pathologies.
