Postural drainage in the management of postoperative hyphaema

We describe the technique of postural drainage of hyphaemas following trabeculectomy alone or when combined with lens extraction and intraocular lens implantation. This technique helps avoid surgical intervention and seems to have no short-term deleterious effect on bleb function.
