Asymptomatic Effluent Protozoa Colonization in Peritoneal Dialysis Patients

Protozoa were found in the peritoneal dialysis (PD) effluent of asymptomatic chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients. This suggests PD fluid may harbor asymptomatic parasitic infections, warranting further clinical investigation.
