Summary

Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is an effective nonsurgical treatment for non-melanoma skin cancer (NMSC) and actinic keratosis (AKs). PDT offers superior cosmetic outcomes and is well-tolerated, though recurrence rates vary by NMSC subtype.
