FDG PET Imaging of Extremities in Rheumatoid Arthritis

Fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography (FDG PET) imaging can assess rheumatoid arthritis joint inflammation and treatment response. While baseline results showed no significant correlation, post-treatment FDG PET correlated with disease activity scores and erythrocyte sedimentation rates.
