Intradural Dirofilariasis in a Dog with Chronic Cervical Pain

A Yorkshire terrier experienced chronic neck pain due to an unusual spinal cord infection by a heartworm (Dirofilaria immitis). Surgical removal of the nematode led to a full recovery, highlighting a rare cause of canine spinal disease.
