Summary

Saturation-recovery (SR) T1-mapping at 3T offers improved accuracy for myocardial tissue characterization compared to inversion-recovery (IR) methods like MOLLI. This advanced technique provides reliable reference values for native T1-times and extracellular volume fraction (ECV) in healthy individuals.
