    Summary

    Tuberculosis (TB) can occur in kidney transplant recipients, presenting atypically. Early diagnosis and treatment of TB in these patients improve outcomes.

    Background:

    • To report on the incidence and clinical presentation of tuberculosis in kidney transplant recipients.
    • To highlight the atypical manifestations of TB in this patient cohort.
    • To emphasize the importance of early diagnosis and treatment for favorable outcomes.

    • Retrospective analysis of eight cases of tuberculosis in 647 kidney transplant patients over 22 years.
