  • Sweat glands were stimulated with pilocarpine hydrochloride, and droplet counts were analyzed.
  • Retinal arterial response to changes in perfusion pressure was measured using a fundus camera to calculate the retinal vasomotor index.

Main Results:

  • Patients with classic migraine had significantly fewer sweat droplets compared to controls.
  • The retinal vasomotor index was significantly lower in both classic and common migraine patients than in controls.
