Background:

  • Benign bile duct strictures can cause significant biliary obstruction and liver damage.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To evaluate the efficacy and safety of endoscopic therapy for benign bile duct strictures.
  • To assess long-term outcomes and recurrence rates following endoscopic treatment.

  • Endoscopic balloon dilation was performed in 23 of 25 patients.
  • Endoprosthesis placement was utilized in conjunction with balloon dilation for some patients.
