Summary

Thyroid autoantibodies (TAb) and autoimmune thyroid disease (ATD) prevalence did not differ between papillary thyroid cancer (PTC) and benign goiter. However, ATD may indicate a better prognosis in PTC patients, with smaller tumors and less invasion.
