Shikonin inhibits TNF-α production through suppressing PKC-NF-κB-dependent decrease of IL-10 in rheumatoid

Shikonin, derived from Lithospermum erythrorhizon, reduces inflammation in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) by modulating interleukin-10 (IL-10) and tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) via the PKC-NF-κB pathway.
