TGF-β and Physiological Root Resorption of Deciduous Teeth

Transforming growth factor β (TGF-β) influences odontoclast differentiation during deciduous tooth root resorption. Its levels correlate with osteoprotegerin (OPG) and receptor activator of nuclear factor-κB ligand (RANKL) expression, regulating this process.
