Optical perception, or vision, is an extraordinary sense dependent on converting light signals received via the ocular organs. Summary

Beta-thalassemia minor is associated with thinner choroidal and macular layers in the eye. Retinal nerve fiber layer thickness was not affected in patients with beta-thalassemia minor.
